body check ≠体检

body，英 ['b?d?] ， 美 ['bɑdi]

通常表示：身体；不过body还可以表示“尸体”。

所以body check有“尸检”的意思，老外听完可能会被吓一跳！

为了避免误解，“体检”可以这样说：

<1> check-up

check-up，['t?ek?p]

表示：体格检查、体检。

这个病是在例行体检时查出来的。

<2> health check

体检也就是健康检查，health是健康、保健。

【例句】
