其他分数怎么表示呢？

1、“分之用基数词，分母用序数词”表示

分数在英语中通常是借助于基数词和序数词来共同表达的。其中基数词表示分子，序数词表示分母。先看分子为1的分数，

如： 1/3 one third a third

1/10 one tenth

1/100 one hundredth

2、分子>1时，分母序数词用复数形式，如third加s，thirds。

2/3 two thirds

3/10 three tenths

5/7 five sevenths

99/123ninty-nine one hundred and twenty-thirds

3、用介词表示 in, out of, over等

如5/7 除了five-sevenths，还可以用 five in seven， five out of seven或five over seven表示。

说明：

百分数后接名词时有时用介词of，有时不用。

例如：

40%（forty percent） of the students 40%的学生

a 90%（ninety percent） chance 9成的把握

两者的区别是：

后面接介词of时，percent为名词，of表示整体中的部分；不接介词of时，percent为形容词，此时不表示整体与部分的关系。
